Disenrollment, is Indian De-Population

In a recent post by Steve Russell in Indian Country, he said he couldn’t name many of the tribes.  Thanks to Alice Langton-Sloan, Vice President of the American Rights and Resources Organization (AIRRO)  WE HAVE the DETAILS.. read them…and weep for the injustice.

  1. Since the last was last updated in 2012, It should be noted that several tribes have re-enrolled the ones the disenrollled. Cherokee Freeman, Enterprise re-enrolled several back with restrictions. The ones that chose not to live under the restrictions remain disenrolled and the ones they reclassified to a lesser citizenship have not been given their full rights back. Robinson re-enrolled the ones previously disenrolled. Chukchanski re-enrolled about 600 of those disenrolled from the second round, but not the first round (they still remain disenrolled). Grand Ronde re-enrolled their disenrolled.
